We provide schools with broad ordering flexibility.
Quantity. The Herzog System can be purchased for any quantity of computers you have in your labs, libraries, classrooms and districts. In this section we give you the information about our 15 and 5 station packages. If you have an odd number of stations, select the closest combination of 15 and 5 stations, and then select the additional components you need from the Catalog Price List page. You can purchase the quantity you need now, and then as you acquire more computers, you can order more packages or components at that time.
Hub Key Sensor Selection. For basic word processing, purchase the packages with the 2-key kits (D K) or the 4-key kits (D K 3 8). For teaching the 10 key number pad, use the 5-key kits (D K 3 8 5) which have a Sensor for the 5 on the 10 key pad.
Learning Materials. We have Elementary and Secondary level Learning Materials. The Learning System is the same in both levels of materials. The difference is that the topics, words, sentence and paragraph lengths for each level are age appropriate, i.e. shorter in the Elementary Materials. The Elementary Learning materials are used through 6th grade, and the Secondary materials are used in 6th grade and older.
"Ready Packs" or "U-Print Packs". The "Ready Packs" are ready for immediate use. The Fast-Track Learning Materials are already printed and professionally coil bound with stand-up easel backs. Just open the package, put the HUB KEY Sensors on the keyboards, distribute the bound copies of the Learning Materials, and you are READY to teach.
In the "U-Print Packs", you purchase a Master copy of our Fast-Track Learning Materials and an authorization for you to print a specified number of copies of these materials, and you do the printing, collating and binding at your school.
Most schools purchase the "Ready Packs" for quality and ease of use for the students and teachers. The difference in cost is minimal when you consider the cost of your printing them locally (your personnel time and cost of materials), and quality, ease of use, and convenience to you. Our coil-binding with the stand-up easel backs is high quality, sturdy, and easy for the students to use, and very convenient for you.
